Last Friday, Primary 4/5 had a very busy Friday!
The children firstly went to Blairbeg hall to explore the WW1 Exhibition. All of the children found the information and objects fascinating! Some of the children were able to find soldiers that had the same last names as them.
From here, we walked to the woods, where we were greeted by some cute but smelly cows!
In the woods, the children played woodland noughts and crosses, created pictures using natural resources from the woods and finished by creating hedgehog houses. The houses were all very impressive and we couldn’t pick a winner!
In one of our future visits to the woods, we will be exploring whether any hedgehogs have decided to hibernate in our houses!
