Last week we celebrated British Science Week, with lots of science experiences.
On Monday, we participated in three science experiments with P3/4 and the Gaelic class; making bridges out of paper and sticky tape, using our prediction skills with different teas and comparing different toothpastes and creating graphs to present them.
The children used lots of scientific skills including observing, predicting, exploring, comparing and evaluating to name a few.
As part of the Science Key Assessment Task, the P4/5 had to create, design and fly their paper aeroplanes. Recording needs to be made to predict how far it would travel and then identify the actual distance they flew to. The children discussed the difference between their notes.
The Key Assessment Tasks will be going home on Wednesday for you to see! 🙂
