Our Kindness Letters

Last week, the children were revisiting their knowledge on how to layout a formal letter. We then transferred these skills and created our own letters.

We were given our own secret friend to write a kindness letter about them: things that we like about our person, what makes them unique, the different things that they are good at etc.

We then placed our letters in a tray and after lunch, we read our kindness letters that someone else wrote.

This lesson made all of the children feel good about themselves, some of the comments that the children shared were:

‘I feel really good about myself’.

‘______ put things on my letter that I didn’t even know I was good at!’

‘I really like reading a letter about myself, can we do this again?’
